Flash Card Buying Guide

It may seem a little bit silly to have a post about buying flash cards, as it doesn’t seem like that hard of a task, but there are some things that you may want to know.

Depending on the age of your child or how well they respond to learning, you may want to think about purchasing multiple flash card packages, maybe like one or two of the same set. After a lot of use, some of our cards got ruined. There were also some days that my daughter just didn’t want to learn and the flash cards suffered her wrath.

I would also recommend examining what type of flash cards you purchase. For instance, the Crayola flash cards come in sets labeled numbers and shapes, first words, ABC’s, and such. If you get your flash cards from dollar stores, you may want to think about stocking up, as many dollar stores only carry their products until they are gone. However, you may want to spend a week or so focusing on one set only, like shapes, as it makes it easier for kids to learn; from what I have found.
