Preparing Your Child for Preschool: Christmas Craft Project – Handprint Wreath

My daughter and I did another preschool craft project, but this one had a Christmas theme. It was a little bit difficult, but I realized afterwards many ways that we actually could have simplified the process.

To make a homemade Christmas wreath with your child, this is what you will need:

* Green & Red Construction Paper
* Scissors
* Glue Stick
* Pencil, Crayon, or Marker

Directions:

1 - Start by tracing your child’s handprints on green construction paper. You will need to have around 10 prints.

2 – Cut out the handprints.

3 – Start gluing them together in a circle. We just glued and cut out a circle later. I found this easier, as my daughter was able to glue her own handprints together with ease.

4 – Draw a bow on the red construction paper.

5 – Cut out the bow and glue it on your child’s Christmas wreath

6 – Enjoy and hang in your home.
