In my last post, I mentioned how a great preschool science experiment is taking a small amount of snow inside and letting your child watch it melt. This science experimentation is a continuation from one listed yesterday.
In addition to taking one small cup or bowl filled with snow indoors, you may want to take more inside. What you will want to do is place these cups or bowls in different areas of your home. Have your child guess which cup or bowl filled with snow will melt the quickest. To add some variation to this experiment, place cups or bowls out in the open, in the freezer, in a dark cupboard or closet, near a source of heat, and so forth.
