Preschool Worksheets

Another great way to work with your child at home is through the use of preschool worksheets. Preschool worksheets come in a number of different formats. For instance, you can get a collection of preschool worksheets by purchasing workbooks or you can print off individual worksheets online.

My daughter loves doing preschool worksheets. Depending on the age of your child, you may need to work with them, step-by-step. There are some preschool worksheets that my daughter can do on her own, once the instructions are explained to her, but there are more complicated preschool worksheets that she still needs assistance with occasionally.

Before we start working on a preschool worksheet, I make a big deal about writing her name at the top of the page. She now traces her name and will hopefully be writing it out herself soon. After she has completed a preschool worksheet page, whether she did so on her own or with help, I always put a sticker on her page or write a small “good job,” message.
