Whether you are interested in preparing your child for preschool or kindergarten or if you are looking to implement your own homeschool preschool program, you may be curious as to what you should be teaching your child. To get an idea, you may want to get a hold of the curriculum list for your local school’s kindergarten program.
As for how you can do so, you can contact your local elementary school. You may also find the same information online. Our local elementary school has curriculum lists on their website.
These lists will focus on what your child should learn in kindergarten. You can get a head start by teaching your child things on that list, but you will at least want to try to get them up to point when they can easily learn and follow the kindergarten curriculum.
